About the book

Heaven Bent is a unique collection of essays, reflections and poetry, edited by Luke Gahan and Tiffany Jones, which brings together academics, religious leaders, activists, politicians, theologians and everyday people, who explore a diverse range of spiritual expressions. Heaven Bent examines the past, present and future of faith, religion and spirituality and LGBTI people in Australia.

Heaven Bent was  launched in Melbourne at Hares & Hyenas Bookshop. Cr. Tony Briffa from the City of Hobson’s Bay and the worlds first Intersex Mayor launched the book and spoke, along with edtor Luke Gahan and Alyena Mohummadally (contributor).
